Let’s play a game.
(not a creepy Saw-type game don’t worry)
Think of your favourite tuna dish. Now substitute the tuna for sardines.
Everyone’s a winner!
Racking my brains for a way to use up our sardine supplies (seriously, we’re almost out of cupboard space), I realised that I could simply switch out tuna and replace it with sardines.
And so this salad came to be. And very tasty it was too.
Sardine Salad (makes about a cup)
- 1 x 3.2 oz can of sardines
- 1 tsp dijon mustard
- 1/2 tsp lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp dill
- 1/2 tsp tarragon
- Mash everything together. Store in the fridge until needed.
